9. Time Setting Alarm Activation/Deactivation (Command “COUNTDOWN”)
The alarm function is also changed, e.g. directly at the device using the left button. However, you are in sensor range for the condition change
(“ALARM ENABLE” to “ALARM DISABLE”) when the button is used for the change. To give the user some time to leave the sensor range, there
are two countdown timers that are set as follows:
SET COUNTDOWN <Time_Enable> <Time_Disable> #1513
Timer <Time_Enable>:
The countdown is started after the alarm mode is activated (“ALARM ENABLE”). A countdown beep sounds. When it ends, the product is armed.
A time can be set from 1 - 60 s.
Timer <Time_disable>:
If an alarm is triggered in the active alarm mode (“ALARM ENABLE”) (e.g. by motion detector), you can order the device to delay triggering the
alarm for a certain time (text message, call, alarm tone). This gives the customer the time to switch off the product with the left button.
A time can be set from 1 - 120 s.
The current times are determined with the following command:
TEST COUNTDOWN #1513
To reset the values to default (Timer <Time enable> = 15 s, Timer <Time disable> = 1 s), use this command:
RESET COUNTDOWN #1513
The mode refers to condition change by the left button only. Text message and INCALL deactivate the alarm at once.
